1924: Life in Tampa's Scrub Community
5:30pm - 6:30pm; Free, and no reservations are necessary.

Fred Hearns, Curator of Black History, and Ashley Morrow, Program Manager, will offer an insightful glimpse into the lives of Black residents in one of Tampa's oldest communities, a century after the establishment of Fort Brooke on the Tampa frontier. Refreshments will be available, and no reservations are necessary.

Artifacts from 1924
11a.m. - 12 p.m.; Free. Limited to 20 guests. Registration required.

Rodney Kite-Powell, Director of the Touchton Map Gallery, and Heather Culligan, Curator of Collections, will offer insights into Tampa in 1924, utilizing maps from the Touchton Map Library and artifacts from the Tampa Bay History Center's general collection.
