Each walking tour lasts 90-min. beginning at 10 a.m. Limited to 25 people, participants will walk through the cemetery, stopping at notable sites. Please wear comfortable shoes and attire for walking outside.
Discover Tampa’s oldest cemetery established for "white and slave, rich and poor." Located at Morgan and Harrison Streets, Oaklawn includes the St. Louis Cemetery with approximately 1,700 graves. Thirteen mayors, a governor, slaves, pirates, and Ybor are buried there, together with over 200 Native Americans, two mass grave sites, and more.
Join us in a walking tour and explore the stories and legacy of this historic site.
The tour will meet at the South Entrance of the cemetery, 606 E. Harrison St. (between Morgan St. and Jefferson St.)
